We’re always looking for a good excuse to go see a movie, and we’ve got one worth adding to the list. ‘Playing With Fire’ finds John Cena bringing his talents to the big screen yet again, taking the lead role on this new comedy. The wrestler has steadily been making the transition from the wrestling ring to the big screen, and he’s certainly doing it well.
We’ve seen him in a handful of films already including Blockers, Trainwreck, Daddy’s Home 2, and more, and today we get a look at another. John Cena is set to star alongside Keegan-Michael Key and John Leguizamo in a new film entitled ‘Playing With Fire.’
The movie finds John Cena starring as straight-laced fire superintendent Jake Carson, while his team of firefighters come to the rescue of three siblings in the path of an encroaching wildfire. Joined by Keegan-Michael Key, John Leguizamo, and Tyler Mane, the squad realizes they are no match for the blaze and no amount of training could prepare them for what’s in store. A test that will become their most challenging job yet. Unable to locate the children’s parents, the firefighters have their lives, careers and more turned upside down as they learn that the kids are much like fires, while and unpredictable.
The crew has their hands full, to say the least, but I’d say it’s safe to assume that their fire fighting abilities are the least of their concerns. Take a look at the hilarious new trailer in the video below and look for ‘Playing With Fire’ on November 8, 2019.
