The artist recently opened up about his new album, stating: “When it’s time for music to be made, it’s almost like my ancestors just come into me and then it’s them. Music is supposed to be a universal language.” Burna Boy went on to add “You understanding what I’m saying is secondary. The primary thing is, what does the person inside of you hear? What does your spirit hear? That’s the job of music–that’s what it’s supposed to do.”

The artist doesn’t disappoint, linking up with an array of talented artists including Jorja Smith, Zlatan, Jeremih, Damian Marley, YG, Future & more. ‘African Giant’ is led by “On The Low,” “Gbona,” “Dangote,” “Anybody” & “Pull Up,” while other standouts include “Omo,” “Killin Dem,” and the title track, “African Giant.”
