Summer Sips | The Johnnie Walker Apple Scotch Sour

Mark your calendars, this Saturday is National Scotch Day. You can count us in on the celebration, and here is exactly how we will be celebrating. Today we get a look at a brilliant recipe worth celebrating on its own, The Johnnie Walker Apple Scotch Sour. This excellent blend was created by mixologist Claire Sprouse, who has put together something quite impressive.

If you’re a fan of Whiskey Sour’s, you will be a fan of this. The Johnnie Walker Apple Scotch Sour calls for a generous blend of Johnnie Walker Black Label, fresh apple juice, fresh lemon juice, honey and a touch of Absinthe. The result is something incredibly flavorful and quite powerful. Simply combine the Johnnie Walker Black Label, fresh apple juice, fresh lemon juice, honey, and absinthe; then shake. Strain the contents into a glass and top it off with a dehydrated apple slice. If you’re showing off, put it in a large coupe glass and switch up the dehydrated apple with a fresh one.

Don’t take our word for it, try it out for yourself. Check out the recipe below and keep it locked for more great ways to celebrate National Scotch Day.
