Before it was taken over by trophy wives and the dickhead with the bully in your kid’s class, the Range Rover was a total monster off-road and in town. An absolute icon of what the luxury off-road SUV can be, it set the bar for all others to come. Brooklyn Coachworks aims to revive the one that started it all with their latest build.
The Heritage Range Rover Classic commemorates the 50th anniversary of the gentlemen’s off-road ride. These Range Rovers have been modeled after the originals with that killer 70’s vibe. The crew over at Brooklyn Coachworks uses new old stock for vertical grills, period-correct badging, and thin tires on Rostyle wheels to highlight the styling cues of the very first Classics which captured our imagination. The wheels are available in silver or white. Tires are offered in two sizes, 235/85R16 or 7.50R16 for the perfect thin tire off-road look.
Body colors are Pastel colors from the early ’70s like Tuscan Blue, Lincoln Green, Bahama Gold, Davos White, Sahara Dust, and Masai Red are all available. They also added Marine Blue and Pastel Green from the Land Rover Series and Defender color book. You also have the choice to paint your D pillar same as the body color or keep it black to have that classic Range Rover floating roofline.
Overall these Heritage Range Rovers Classics bring back the charm that Land Rover first brought to the luxury SUV market some 50 years ago. Brooklyn Coachworks has limited production to 50 examples.
