Equality x Excellence | Melody Ehsani x POWERADE’s “POWER HAS NO GENDER” Campaign

Renowned streetwear designer Melody Ehsani is back. She returns after collaborative projects with Megan Rapinoe, LeBron James and Reebok, this time raising the volume on the “POWER HAS NO GENDER” campaign in partnership with POWERADE. The LA-based designer and fashionista is best known for her online shop, as well as her fem-power gear and accessories with an ethos centered on equality and self-expression.

She’s teamed with POWERADE to launch a one-of-a-kind jersey that celebrates female youth soccer players from coast to coast. With POWERADE serving as the official sports drink of the U.S. Women’s National Team, the partnership made sense. The jersey is an homage to the U.S. Women’s National Team and draws attention to the continued conversation around equity in their sport.

The team officially introduced the “Power Has No Gender” campaign with the U.S. Soccer Foundation to change the narrative and provide access for future female ballers in underserved communities. The collaborative effort also celebrates future athletes and their avid supporters. The campaign will also construct three youth soccer fields in New York City, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. Each one named in honor of their power players Alex Morgan, Crystal Dunn, and Kelley O’Hara.

Take a look at the jersey in the images and find out more from Melody Ehsani and POWERADE about the “POWER HAS NO GENDER” campaign immediately.
