Fold x Go | Hyundai Reveals A Folding Electric Scooter

For anyone living inside the urban sprawl, the sight of electric scooters is nothing new; it’s become common. The good folks over at Hyundai are diving into the world of micro-mobility. They have created a foldable electric scooter prototype. The scooter weighs in at around 17 lbs. boasting a compact tri-fold design. The folding scooter can quickly transform into a briefcase-like size, providing a highly portable way to get around town.

The device is outfitted with a digital display showing battery life and a screen that lets you know how fast you’re going. Power comes from a 10.5 Ah battery which boasts speeds of up to 12 mph. The ride is even outfitted with articulated LED lights at the front and rear for nighttime riding. As an added bonus, the scooter mounts to any Hyundai or Kia vehicle, where it gets charged from the electricity generated from driving. No further details have been announced just yet, nor has any formal release date.

However, we will be sure to keep you in the loop. For now, check out the scooter in the image up top and look for much more from Hyundai coming soon. In the meantime, be sure to check out the teaser of Hyundai’s new 45 Concept. This is certainly something to keep an eye out for more on!
