Frank Gehry’s Towers In Toronto

The award-winning architect Frank Gehry is taking his talents to new heights with his latest project. The Canadian architect recently revealed his last plans, two residential towers set to be built in Toronto. The project includes the tallest residential buildings designed by Gehry to date. The project has been in the works for nearly a decade. The two towers will be built in Toronto with interiors designed by Paolo Ferrari.

The eastern tower will reach 262 meters, and the western tower will reach 298 meters, located on King Street West. Both buildings will serve as residential luxury condominium units and branches of the Ontario College of Art and Design campus. The designs feature a dynamic visual aesthetic with reflective glass surfaces juxtaposed with glossy stainless steel sculptural elements. The skyscraper will also include influences from Canadian artists, such as the Group of Seven collection. The grand project, backed by Westdale Properties and Dream Unlimited, is projected to be completed in 2028.

Take a closer look at the renderings in the images below and find out more from Frank Gehry coming soon. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more modern architecture coming soon.
