Kostas Seremetis Opens The New ‘Signal’ Exhibition

The New York-based artist, sculptor, and filmmaker Kostas Seremetis is back with a new exhibition. The artist has taken over HVW8 in Berlin with his ‘Signal’ exhibition. The new showcase continues his exploration of comic book art and animation cartoons. The exhibition is presented by Carhartt and features a range of graffiti art canvases featuring pop culture figures. These include Pink Panther, Bart Simpson, Garfield, Odie, Mickey Mouse, Felix the Cat, and more.

Seremetis opened up about his work with HYPEBEAST recently, stating: “These superheroes and cartoons are like modern-day mythology that everyone can relate to. Just like the ancient Greek gods and goddesses that are still prominent in present-day society.” He added, “I’m constantly jamming and mixing these characters while having a dialogue with them. I’m obeying this feeling that I have when painting.”

The artist shared a short blurb speaking about the overlapping designs for his new exhibition. He stated: “An aerosol Adventure of gratifications. Mixing Pigments is Sorcery. Painting is a Love Buzz. Cartoons and Comic book Characters are all strangers by nature. Bart is Mischief. Pink Panther is Philosophy. Snoopy is a Healer. One Signal to Modulate another Signal.“
