The exterior is clad in board-formed concrete, which provides a discreet profile from the street view. A perforated metal canopy welcomes guests, offering a starry pattern and unique texture to the facade. The interior opens up to views of the Maui shoreline thanks to a glass and steel rear elevation.
A collection of wooden louvers provide a touch of privacy while interacting with the natural light that floods the area. The bleached cypress and teak details were chosen by Leverone Design. The elements provide a soft, welcoming, and natural aesthetic that extends throughout the home. The wood details also complement the scenery, creating a neutral backdrop for the owner’s art collection. The ten-foot roof overhangs protect the indoor and outdoor spaces from the intense sun and frequent storms.
