Looking to add to your NFT collection? Well, today, we get a look at something quite unique from designers Mason Rothschild and Eric Ramirez. The two Los Angeles-based creatives have come together to create an NFT nod to the iconic Birkin Bag by Hermès. “Baby Birkin” is a 2000 x 2000 animation in 3D max featuring a baby in all stages of a 40-week pregnancy in the transparent bag.
The NFT artwork is a play on the handbag that has become one of the most exclusive and sought-after bags. Rothschild and Ramierez use entrepreneurship and art, adding value to the cultural phenomenon with eye-catching detail. Rothschild is co-founder of Temporary Contemporary, and Ramirez is a self-taught painter, both known for their hand-painted luxury goods owned by stars such as Travis Scott, J Balvin, John Mayer, and others.
The “Baby Birkin” NFT is currently up for auction at Basic.Space, offering fans the opportunity to own something unique and modern. The NFT craze is expanding, and this is just the latest example of art’s foray into the future.
