Art Under The Sea! The Reefline Underwater Sculpture Park

Miami has become known for its arts districts, galleries, museums, internationally acclaimed shows, and much more. While it’s long been a destination for art enthusiasts, the South Florida city will be adding to its artistic history with the Reefline. The Reefline is an underwater sculpture park that will be developed by BlueLab Preservation Society.

The project is an environmentally-focused sculpture park that will be placed below the surface of South Beach. The park will reach seven miles up the coast while boasting pieces from prominent international artists and designers. The sculptures will sit in 15-20 feet of water and are sure to become an attraction for art lovers from all over. The best part is that the park will also become an artificial reef, providing habitats for endangered reef organisms.

Phase one of the project is slated to open in December of 2021. To find out more about Reefline, check out their website. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the intersection of art and lifestyle.
