Pictures Of The Future | Fujifilm Reveals The 26-Megapixel X100V

Back in 2011, Fujifilm unleashed the X100 series. The range gained popularity within the industry upon its arrival, especially among street photographers. It’s sleek, discreet design and quick, intuitive performance is nothing short of incredible. Now the Japanese brand is back, introducing the model’s fifth iteration: the X100V. This unique new design upgrades the small camera’s performance, elevating it to new levels in the process. The camera is now equipped with a larger 26-megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor.

It’s also host to a quad-core X-Processor 4 CPU, offering high quality, high-resolution images. The pancake lens’ focal length has been kept at 23mm, though it has been enhanced to optimize functionality with the camera’s new sensor. It’s also compatible with the current wide and telephoto lens attachments. Other updates and upgrades include a new weather-seal adapter ring, an LCD screen that can be flipped outward, and an upgraded hybrid viewfinder. It’s also capable of 4K video recording and a new “Classic Neg.” film mode.

Take a closer look at the latest device from Fujifilm in the images below and look for the new camera to arrive later this month. Pre-orders are now available over at Adorama. Keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the tech sector coming very soon.
