Electric automobiles have changed the game. We’ve already seen what EVs are capable of, and now they are heading off-road. Today we get our first look at Overland-E’s latest creation, the Gen2 electric vehicle. Their first build, the MK1, was a classic Volkswagen Beetle-based dune buggy. This time around, they have created something far more ambitious.
The all-electric vehicle will come in two versions, the Urban or the Explorer. The Urban features more creature comforts than the Explorer, which lacks doors and has many off-road features. The Explorer features a waterproof interior, storage in both the side bins and on the roof, and a winch. Both models boast an incredible range of 750 miles, though the powertrain specs such as horsepower and torque haven’t been revealed just yet.
The vehicle has a sleek, clean, modern aesthetic while boasting plenty of off-road-ready capability. Check out the Overland-E Gen2 in the images and find out more about the vehicle from Overland-E. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the automotive world coming soon.
