Riding Into The Future | Lexus LF-30 Electrified Concept

The good folks over at Lexus are preparing for an electrified future. Recently the iconic auto manufacturer revealed a look at the LF-30. A new concept that has some exciting innovations that push the world of EVs forward. The most significant difference between the LF-30 and some of today’s EV offerings is the four hub-mounted motors. This powerful combination makes a combined 536 horsepower.

The motors can be operated in front, rear, or all-wheel-drive, or any combination thereof. This makes for excellent traction and stability control. The lack of front and rear axles and floor-mounted batteries allows for a considerable amount of freedom of design in the interior. Lexus takes full advantage of the layout, offering a unique space inside. The front and rear overhangs maximize passenger space, while a glass roof runs the entire length of the car. Seats are based on those from first-class airliners. This means you get memory material that molds each seat to the occupant. As well as an entertainment system headlined by a custom-designed sound system by Mark Levinson.

Take a closer look at the new concept from Lexus in the images below and head over to Lexus to find out more immediately. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new cars and concept cars coming very soon.
