For the last decade, the GT-R has been with us, and the car has aged quite well. It’s still a top performer and continues to be updated and upgraded through the years. The good folks over at Italdesign are back, partnering with Nissan for a very limited run of special edition GT-R’s. The Nissan x Italdesign GT-R50 Coupe was first introduced last year as a concept car.
The production version is almost identical to the concept, though with one minor difference. The only change is the standard rearview mirrors, which replaced the concept’s camera system. Italdesign’s exceptional bodywork remains unchanged from the concept; neither has the power under the hood. The ride is powered by a hand-built, twin-turbo V6 making 710 horsepower and 575 ft-lb of torque. The first customer model will be on display at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2020, and a handful of the 50 build slots are still available.
