Summer Spirit | The New Riff Julep By New Riff Distilling

Look, we all have our favorite spirits and our favorite drinks. With Labor Day right around the corner, it’s almost time to create some of your favorites in a celebration for the end of Summer. The good folks over at New Riff Distilling have created a handful of exceptional recipes that are sure to end Summer with some spirit.

First up, we get a look at a new take on an old classic, elevating a Summer staple with a bold touch. The New Riff Julep is a new play on the official drink of Derby. The New Riff Julep is sure to bring the bluegrass’ love for bourbon and horses to your home. The recipe is simple to make and even easier to enjoy.

It calls for a generous helping of New Riff Bottled in Bond Kentucky Straight Rye, a spicy and potent blend. This is then accented by powdered sugar and some mint leaves, creating something sweet, spicy, powerful, and quite perfect for any Summer celebration. While it’s not your typical mint julep, it’s one worth putting together and enjoying a few times.

However, you don’t need to take our word for it. Check out the full recipe below, make one, and try it out for yourself. This is the perfect way to send off Summer. Keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more drinks and drink recipes coming very soon.
