Tiny Living | Koto x Abodu Modular Houses

Modern architecture comes in all sorts of shapes, sizes, forms, and designs. Modular houses have become quite popular, as have tiny homes. We have all witnessed tiny structures of some point, providing ample living space thanks to the brilliant use of space. Today we get a look at a stunning modern tiny structure that is offering affordable and efficient living on the west coast. UK-based Koto has taken to the Bay Area to showcase their new structures.

The Koto x Abodu Modular Houses were created in collaboration with US startup Abodu. The goal is to increase property value and create rental revenue for San Jose residents by streamlining the building process. They have developed a permitting program that has pre-approved 500-square-foot apartments. These dwellings have a turnaround time of just two weeks. Buyers will then have a contemporary Scandinavian-inspired home with one bedroom, a kitchen, bathroom, and living area. The interior boasts premium finishes and Wolf and Fisher & Paykel appliances. The houses even feature exterior decking, landscaping, and furniture upgrades if desired. These modular homes are stylish and unique, functional, and offer minimal impact on the environment thanks to a small footprint.

Take a closer look at this unique contemporary dwellings in the images below and learn more about the homes from Koto right now. Stay tuned with us here at The Culture Curators for more modern architecture and modular homes coming soon.
