Own An Icon | 1974 Maserati Bora 4.7 Coupe

When it comes to iconic rides and stunning power, Maserati certainly has a storied past. Today we get a look at a legend of the Maserati fleet, offering the chance to own an iconic ride in the process. The Bora was the company’s first mid-engine supercar. The Bora original began when Citroën took a controlling interest in Maserati in 1968. Lamborghini and DeTomaso already had mid-engine cars, and Ferrari was developing one. Maserati then jumped into the mix, creating the Bora, which went into production in 1971. Today we get a look at a pristine 1974 Maserati Bora 4.7 Coupe.

This beautiful machine is one of just 564 Bora’s produced from ’71 through ’78. Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Italdesign, the Bora had features like an adjustable pedal box, tilt, and telescoping steering wheel. The ride also featured a front-mounted trunk that made the car practical to drive. This particular Bora underwent a two-year restoration that was finished in 2011. It’s still as beautiful now, after eight years, as it was once the restoration was complete. The ride comes fully documented and ready to drive. This machine is a perfect addition to any fleet, especially for any Maserati fan.
