Art In Architecture | The York House

In case you couldn’t tell, we have a soft spot for modern architecture. Today we take a look at a beautiful modern home known as the York House. The home was created by Alex Nerovnya, who is known for using geometric shapes in a unique manner. The York House puts his signature style on display, offering something captivating and creative, to say the least. The York House is placed on a slight incline.

The forest-dwelling features a simple gable roof, while a central core houses four guest bedrooms. This design divides the living spaces in two while giving an original update to the traditional design. The interiors are detailed with warm wood paneling and a glazed facade. Here is where all the views are found, embracing the landscape and showing everything that it has to offer. The home further connects to its surroundings, thanks to integrated sliding glass doors. These doors open to a series of multi-leveled terraces that lead down to the forest floor.

Take a closer look at this beautiful modern structure in the images below and learn more about the York House here. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more modern architecture and design coming soon.
