Artistic expression comes in an array of forms and disciplines. Today we get a look at one of the most unique sculptures we’ve ever seen. The artist known as Benjamin Shine is known for sculpting tulle fabric into three-dimensional portraits. His latest creation, entitled ‘Quietude’ features a net-like form of a human face. The sculpture is set against the Sonoran Desert sky. Mr. Shine’s compelling designs arrive created out of a net-like material.
This makes for a busy, albeit incredibly designs. The eye-catching intricate design boasts an ethereal aesthetic which forms a hand-shaped 80 by 20 feet design. The installation comes crafted from recycled polyethylene material. During the day, the sculpture changes colors, swapping from pink to dark crimson depending on the sunlight.
The artist stated: “The Sky Flow sculpture takes the concept of the tulle Flow series into new territory as a large scale, self-supporting form.” ‘Quietude’ is quite intriguing and undoubtedly eye-catching. The artist again showcases his talent flawlessly while providing another captivating and striking work of art! It’s definitely a work of art that is worth your time and attention.
