Art x Style! Tiffany & Co. x Daniel Arsham Reveal “Blue Box, Circa 3021”

The good folks over at Tiffany & Co. are back at it once again. After making headlines with their new campaign featuring Jay-Z and Beyoncé, the imprint is back with a new collaboration. This time they have joined forces with Daniel Arsham for a special release entitled “Blue Box, Circa 3021.” The collaboration finds the artist displaying his “Future Relics” aesthetic, creating a “Bronze Eroded Tiffany Blue Box.”

Limited to just 49 sculptures, the blue box continues the artist’s reimagining of everyday objects. The design seems to have been excavated, while inside lies a brilliant Tiffany Knot bangle in 18k white gold with diamonds and tsavorites. Arsham spoke about the design and working with Tiffany & Co. He stated: “When I started to evaluate my intervention within the box, it’s also very similar to some of the patination that I use in bronze, which is how we got to this kind of translation between the original cardboard Tiffany Blue Box; into this bronze patina box.”

The box arrives with branding from both parties and metal hinges. Arsham went on to add, “I think jewelry in some ways is about desire and expectation, literally the opening of the box and not knowing what’s inside is part of that experience.”

Take a closer look at Tiffany & Co. x Daniel Arsham‘s “Blue Box, Circa 3021″ in the images and head over to Tiffany & Co. to find out more. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the intersection of art and fashion.
