With a new project set to arrive on August 2nd, we can expect a lot more from Black Milk soon. Today the producer, rapper, and much more is back with something new for our listening enjoyment, cooking up a smooth new single called “If U Say.”
This time around Black Milk links up with BJ The Chicago Kid, serving up a dose of their respective talents while also serving up the lead single from Black Milk’s impending EP. The track finds the artist showing off his lyrical prowess, effortlessly doing his thing while BJ The Chicago Kid adds his vocal prowess the mix. The track, “If U Say” is pushed by these incredibly smooth synth sections which are meshed with soulful vocal samples and some cool, crisp drum work. The combination provides a nice home for the duo to do their thing. The hook gets a deeper dose of smoothness, mellowing out as BJ The Chicago Kid comes through to lay down his infectious talents.
The track is a perfect example of the talents of both artists, and certainly, a fitting first single from Black Milk’s upcoming EP, DiVE.
