Owned and operated by the legend himself, Oliver Peck, Elm Street Tattoo is an institution. The shop was opened back in 1996 and has operated non-stop since. The competition is real in NYC, but Kings Avenue Tattoo stands above the rest. Kings Avenue Tattoo was established by Mike Rubendall in 2005 and boasts some of the most sought after artists in the game. The family has grown since ’05 with locations in both Long Island and NYC. Kings Avenue offers remarkable quality and plenty of experience while combining historical connections with modern craftsmanship to create one of a kind tattoos.

Probably one of the newer shops on this list, Amulet Tattoo offers quality tattoos and an atmosphere that is clean and comfortable. One of our favorites on the list, there is something special about Hollywood’s True Tattoo. Here you will find a who’s who of incredible artists from Oliver Peck to Luke Wessman, and many more. With decades of experience, True Tattoo offers something for everyone, running unique specials and deals for their patrons throughout the year. True Tattoo has become a staple in the Hollywood area, and for good reason. This shop is what a tattoo shop should be gritty, creative, and authentic, while also warm and welcoming. Get inked!
