It’s All In The Details | Daytoner Reveals Master 9 Eyes (M9E) Sculpture

The artist, Daytoner, has linked up with art toy producers PureArts for something special. They have created a new sculpture that embodies an epic entrance for battle. The piece is dubbed Master 9 Eyes (M9E). The figure features two swords out, seen in either a red or “PHNTM P4ND4” black and white colorway. The design was first drafted and 3D sculpted by Daytoner before being turned over to PureArts.

The production design includes double swords and a fashionable look. The character is seen rocking a bold puffer jacket, baggy pants, sneakers, and a katana backpack. The Master 9 Eyes PHNTM P4ND4 colorway is inspired by the philosophy of yin and yang, offering a contrasting look in the process. The shape of the figure appears to be human, though some robotic details in the face and hands add a unique look.

The artist stated: “His opponents usually underestimated him due to his chunky appearance… but he always had a better stance.” Both colorways are currently available for preorder on Kickstarter. Each is offered in two different forms: a 1/6 scale resin figure complete with an engraved plexiglass base or a 1/12 vinyl figure. The artist has plans to launch a third colorway if a 300% funding goal is reached.

Take a closer look at this unique new design in the images below and stay tuned for more on this coming soon. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more style and streetwear coming soon.
