For those who couldn’t tell, we love stunning, modern architecture. We’ve seen plenty of exceptional examples, and today we get a look at another and another from Olson Kundig. The Collywood House offers unrivaled views of Southern California, erasing the boundaries between the indoors and outdoors. The home is also host to incredible landscaping with expansive glazed panels fitted throughout. The steel and concrete structure is host to 15,600-square-feet of living space, boasting plenty of private and public spaces throughout.
The ground floor is host to the main living area, which doubles as an intimate lounge space, or merely a place to relax. The space offers enough room for entertaining around 200 guests, while walls of retractable windows wrap the room. This unique feature offers a seamless and stunning transition to the outdoor terrace. The patio is situated on the edge of a hillside, as is the infinity pool; both offer breath-taking views that reach from the San Gabriel Mountains to the Pacific Ocean.
