Luxury On The Water | Lake House Vols

We’ve seen some exceptional examples of modern architecture recently. Today we get a look at a beautiful lake house dubbed  Lake House Vols. This stunning structure sits on Völser Weiher lake, a year-round destination for travelers. The dwelling was commissioned by the municipality in South Tyrol, created and designed by noa*. The structure replaces a former facility, offering a lake house that is truly worthy of the nature reserve.

The design consists of two volumes. The main building boasts a classic saddle roof. Inside we find a snack bar that extends to a massive terrace that overlooks the bathing area. The second building is host to lockers, bathrooms, and showers for swimmers in the summer and ice skaters during the winter. The wooden frame design is clad in folded boards. This supports a garden of climbing plants that will blend the modern structure into its natural surroundings.

Take a closer look at this beautiful contemporary design in the images below and learn more about the design from noa*. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more modern architecture coming very soon.
