The good folks over at Toyota are no strangers to speed. Their fleet of race cars are known for their winning ways on the tracks. Today the automaker is back, unleashing a brand new ride for privateer racing teams. The Toyota Gazoo Racing GR GT3 concept serves as a significant commitment to racing. The vehicle was designed as a customer car for privateer racing teams, much like Porsche and their customer cars.
The GR GT3 is a front-engined, rear-wheel-drive concept that Toyota hopes will provide tech for their production models. While the company hasn’t revealed any tech specs regarding the drivetrain or other details, we are certainly excited to hear more about this machine. The GR GT3 concept features a sleek long-hood design with a short deck that seems to draw inspiration from Supra’s of the past.
