Outta This World! The NASA Space Watch NFT

A significant drawback of NFTs has been the lack of a tangible, physical item. The creative minds over at NASA are offering their first NFT, teaming up with Anicorn for something unique and different. Known as a “Collector’s Gacha,” the NFT can be redeemed for a never-seen, real-life timepiece dubbed “The Space Watch.” This is the first NFT of its kind, offering a redeemable token for something physical and unique.

The Space Watch was designed by Richard Danne, the man responsible for NASA’s legendary WORM logo. Winners own the right to hold, redeem, or resell the token, while the watch is engraved SB 001/150 on the case back. Everyone is getting into NFTs these days, but this is one of the first of its kind to offer a tangible reward.

Interested in finding out more about the Space Watch NFT? Head over to Rarible to place a bid for the NFT right now. Are NFTs the future of art and design? Only time will tell, but more and more people are adopting the concept into a business model. Stay tuned. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more NFT news and art releases coming soon.
