Training Day | Michael B. Jordan Preps to Portray Killmonger

Michael B. Jordan is exceptional at his job, and part of that is due to his training and preparation for his roles. We’ve seen Mr. Jordan play in some of the biggest movies over the past few years, including Creed, Creed 2, and his most famous role yet as Killmonger on Black Panther. We’ve seen his evolution as an actor, and we’ve seen his physical transformation for his role in Creed 2. Today we get a look behind the scenes at Michael B. Jordan’s preparation for his portrayal as Killmonger.

Recently the actor shared a look inside of the type of training it took to get him ready to play the role of Erik Killmonger. The clip finds the actor running through some pretty intense weapons training, showing off the focus and dedication it takes to become the best Killmonger possible. In the past we’ve seen Keanu Reeves and Halle Berry prepping for their parts in John Wick, linking up with the team at Taran Tactical to learn the finer art of marksmanship with a variety of weapons.

Jordan took to Instagram to share his experience, providing a short video to give us an idea of the action and training involved. Jordan wrote: “Since everybody wanna show off, let me show what Killmonger can do. ???????????? (A lil BTS of me training for Black Panther).” Taran Tactical took things a step further, unleashing a 2-and-a-half-minute video of Killmonger in training and it is indeed worth your time and attention.

There are also rumors that this isn’t the last we’ve seen of Jordan as Killmonger, though time will tell, though we’ll get into that later. Check out the eye-catching video of Michael B. Jordan in action and stay tuned for more entertainment news coming soon.
