The good folks over at Porsche are back in the news. Today the legendary automaker is back with a look at their latest Gran Turismo race car, the Porsche Vision Gran Turismo Race Car. Gran Turismo invited real-world manufacturers to design and build concept cars that appear in-game.
For 2021 Porsche has created something unique, offering a look at what the future sports car-class racer might look like. The design is heavily inspired by the electric Taycan and is all-electric. The Porsche Vision Gran Turismo Race Car features a futuristic interior that is host to a racing-style steering wheel and steering-mounted controls. The transparent dash is a nice touch, boasting a pane that contains surrounds for holographic instrument readouts.
The car is the latest addition to the Gran Turismo lineup of vision vehicles, imagining the future of motorsports. Take a closer look at the Porsche Vision Gran Turismo Race Car in the images and look for the car to make its debut in Gran Turismo 7, launching March 4th, 2022.
