Living With Angles | This Is The Pentahouse

Modern architecture provides a look into the future of design. From brutalist creations to mid-century inspired architecture, we all have our particular favorites. Today we get a look at a beautiful contemporary structure full of intriguing lines, sharp angles, and eye-catching attention to detail.

Named thanks to its use of geometric forms, the Pentahouse puts a modern touch on the contemporary mountain home. The Pentahouse was conceptualized by Wamhous and is currently in the concept phase, though one design we’d love to see brought to life. The aptly named Pentahouse is comprised of a series of concrete pentagons.

The geometric forms range in size forming a series of slopes and peaks which are reminiscent of the contours of a towering range. The interior of the home features a vaulted ceiling that is formed by the pitched roof. The living spaces are spacious and contemporary, detailed with exposed concrete for a minimalist aesthetic throughout. The expansive glazing brings the exterior inside, providing unrivaled views of the surrounding landscape.

As we said, the Pentahouse is currently int he concept phase, designed by Wamhouse Studio’s Karina Wiciak and one we’re hopeful will see completion in the near future. Find out more about the structure from Wamhouse Studio right now.
