2020 has been a rough year for all of us. An escape is needed, and today we get a look at a perfect spot to get away from reality. LMTLS has imagined the Chateau Scope Treehouse Modules. These unique concepts are rendered along the circumference of the Château de la Mothe-Chandeniers. They are designed in a way to emulate the connection between the earth and the sun.
The modules are situated on a foundation of stilts. The two cabins boast slated roofs with arched openings, fitting with the scenery that surrounds them. The large voids in the angled screens place the focus on the iconic French castle.
This creates an almost snow globe-like effect for guests and a unique experience for any traveler. The proposal is part of a design competition that encourages architects to create treehouses on castle sites found in rural France. It sounds like an interesting competition if we say so ourselves.
