Sound x Art | Daniel Arsham Elevates Bang & Olufsen’s Beoplay A9

As if the Beoplay A9 needed any updates, it is getting one. Daniel Arsham is transforming one of his original paintings into a new limited edition speaker for Bang & Olufsen. Known for his detailed, decaying and eye-catching artistic designs, Mr. Arsham decided to elevate the A9 speaker. The artist will take the Bang & Olufsen A9 from a plain ol’ speaker to a beautiful work of art. The speaker grille makes the perfect home for Arsham’s work.

The grille hosts a blue moon surrounded in an anodized aluminum ring. The speaker itself its on white stained oak legs, pushing crisp, clean, and clear sound with a beautiful new look. The design features a powerful set of drivers that produces a total of 1,500 watts of power. The speaker also features Google Assistant compatibility, and it has support for AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Bluetooth, and DLNA. The speaker will be exclusive to the House by Daniel Arsham pop-up at Selfridge’s in London.

The design is a perfect balance between form and function. The speaker provides stunningly crisp sound and eye-catching appeal. Take a closer look at this eye-catching speaker in the image up top and find out more from Selfridges. While you’re at it, check out Daniel Arsham’s Porsche 911, which is also on display at Selfridges.
