The House On Archer Ave.! The Royal Tenenbaums House

For fans of “the house on Archer Avenue” that Royal Tenenbaum bought “in the winter of his 35th year,” the home is currently up for rent. While Archer Avenue doesn’t really exist, the home featured in Wes Anderson’s 2001 film The Royal Tenenbaums does. The home is currently for rent, sitting on the corner of Convent Avenue in Hamilton Heights.

The Flemish Revival mansion was first built back in 1899 by developer Jacob D. Butler. The structure was designed by Adolph Hoak, boasting a spacious interior that is perfect for entertaining or simply living your best life. The 6,000 square foot interior is host to six bedrooms and a formal living room, formal dining room, butler kitchen, family room, chef’s kitchen, and garden.

The home even features original details for fans of the film, including stained windows, ornate woodwork, and six fireplaces. Packed with unique charm and exceptional attention to detail, this iconic home could be your new digs.
