Modern architecture comes in an array of shapes, sizes, and forms. We’ve seen plenty of incredible examples, but we’ve seen nothing quite like House L. This stunning home was designed by Plasma Studios and is situated with views of the Dolomite Mountains. The home offers a contemporary design to the rugged landscape, doing so with a simple form and a geometric roofline. Eye-catching and intriguing, the dwelling is a larch-clad cabin that fits seamlessly with the surrounding area.
The L-shaped cabin wraps around an existing silver birch, leaving the focus on nature, the tree, and the central lawn. The design helps block out views of the street and commercial buildings, providing privacy throughout. The interior is host to a palette of larch, pinewood, and gray hues that offer a minimalist aesthetic. The living spaces feature timber-lined windows that frame in the stunning scenery.
House L provides a unique escape from modern life, doing so with a classic form and a contemporary nod.
