Art & Auto! Mercedes-Benz x Virgil Abloh Project Maybach Concept

The passing of Virgil Abloh surprised the world. The 41-year-old artistic director of Louis Vuitton men’s wear Virgil Abloh had passed away after a private battle with cancer. His range as a designer was incredible, and his influence will be felt and seen for years to come. Today Mr. Abloh is back in the news feed as we get a look at the Mercedes-Benz x Virgil Abloh Project Maybach Concept.

Project Maybach is a two-seat off-road coupe designed in conjunction with Mercedes-Benz and Virgil Abloh. The ride features a smooth, defined shape that offers an intriguing look and sleek appeal not found in today’s vehicles. The long hood and short deck are reminiscent of prewar Mercedes’, while the interior offers a dose of elegance and minimalism. The electric vehicle is powered by solar cells underneath the transparent hood, while its shape contrasts with an external roll cage and massive off-road tires.

This stunning machine is unique and eye-catching; this stunning machine is nothing like you have ever seen before. Take a few minutes from your busy Monday and check out the Mercedes-Benz x Virgil Abloh Project Maybach Concept in the images below. The Project Maybach was recently displayed to the public at Miami’s Rubell Museum.
