Concrete Cylinder House

Omar Nobil spent fifteen years working at the Banana Republic as a designer. He took his talents beyond style and opted to develop a sustainable luxury lifestyle brand Unincorporated Associates. The result is a company that blends architecture, clothing, and custom vehicles for an “immersive residential experience.” The first project is a concrete concept in Joshua Tree dubbed the Concrete Cylinder House.

The structure features a 3,200 square foot cement cylinder with three bedrooms and a guest house. The design is partially burrowed into the desert landscape. Details such as exposed walls, concrete countertops, and built-in furniture provide a minimalist aesthetic. There are also a pair of 180-foot tall windows that flood the interior with natural light. Along with the dwelling, the owners will receive 21 custom-designed outfits, and a vintage Land Rover Series III rebuilt with an electric engine.

Take a closer look at the eye-catching, monolithic structure in the images below and find out more from  Unincorporated Associates. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more outstanding architecture coming very soon.
