We could all use an escape, but not just any escape. We could all use a wellness retreat to get back to center. For anyone looking for a real escape from reality, look no further. Today we take a look at the beautiful and serene, Beckoning Path Wellness Retreat. This stunning destination is situated on twenty-seven acres of lakefront property in Upstate New York.
This private wellness retreat is located within a 1960s dwelling designed by Jens Quistgaard. The property features a dose of beautiful architecture with a focus on relaxing your mind. The structure features a beautifully sculpted copper roof, which lends itself to the vaulted ceilings inside. The structure is also host to imported wood and expansive glazing, which frames unrivaled views of the natural world beyond.
The home’s original character comes to life through unique details. All of these elements coexist to create the ideal backdrop for a tranquil escape from everyday life. The interior was reimagined by BarlisWedlick. Here we find an array of meditation studios, as well as guest rooms and a changing room. There is also a 1,000-square-foot extension, which was added to house the indoor pool. The Beckoning Path Wellness Retreat is the perfect place to escape the madness.
Take a look at this beautiful retreat in the images below and find out more about the structure from Barlis Wedlick. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more modern architecture and contemporary design coming very soon.
