When it comes to modern architecture, we’ve seen unique designs of all sorts. We’ve seen cliffside dwellings, modern lakefront properties, and much more. Today we take a look at a beautiful modern structure that literally hangs over a river. P&M Studio has created a unique cantilevered dwelling that is perched atop a small hill overlooking a river. The structure boasts a single level of interior living space, which is host to horizontal wood slats and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Throughout, we also see rectangular steel stock, which is reinforced via diagonal i-beams. Beneath the main level is a small deck area that is capped with a metal railing. The bottom of the main floor also features the horizontal wood and i-beam arrangement. Inside we find a ground-level entrance at the top of the hill, which opens to a roomy, open floor plan. The structure has been decorated with contemporary furnishings, which adds to the home’s appeal in the process. This includes everything from furniture to art, lighting, and much more.
