We are big fans of modern, unique architecture, and today we get a look at a prime example. Today we get a look at a unique structure located above Horská Kamenice in the Czech Republic. Dubbed the Cottage Pod Bukovou, the dwelling transforms an old cabin into something modern and minimal. This unique mountain retreat features a simple design that has been wrapped in blackened timber. The exterior has an abstract appeal with a contrasting interior.
The inside features a collection of simple and functional living spaces. The warm, natural wood interior includes large picture windows that offer a hygge allure. The cabin also features a pair of bedrooms, one of which is accessible by a ladder from the kitchen. The other is reached by hidden stairs in the closet. For more sleeping space, the structure includes a detached volume that features a bedroom and a birch-wrapped sauna.
