If we’re being honest with one another, we’d all rather be lounging somewhere luxurious, on a beach, enjoying a great drink, great views, and some great weather. When we think of visiting the beach, we generally think of waves, sand, sun, and fun; you know, the typical. The creative minds at Wallasia had an interesting concept in mind for visiting the beach, constructing the No Sunrise No Sunset Pavilion.

Modern, unique, eye-catching and artistic, the No Sunrise No Sunset Pavilion was created for the first Thailand Biennale in Krabi, presenting an engaging way to enjoy the sea. The outstanding contemporary design is essentially a mirrored box that gazes out upon the sea. The No Sunrise No Sunset Pavilion gets its name from the ethos that the sun doesn’t actually rise or set, but it is Earth that spins, which makes the sun appear to move.

The structure’s mirrored door works like a block to the vista beyond when shut, while when open it gives entry to a hallway-like area and some incredible views. The structure has a glass end that frames the view, while also featuring an intricate statue of Yai Sa that acts as a symbol of love and waiting. The contemporary aesthetic continues inside and out, showcasing sharp edges, brilliant attention to detail, all while providing a stunning way to experience the natural world.
